Street fighter female characters
The Mortal Kombat series is chock-full of different kinds of fighters with twisted backstories, and even twistier personalities. What else would you expect from the fighting game series known for having the best story in the entire genre? While the majority of those characters are male, that doesn't mean that the female characters present aren't equally as cool.

Khameleon holds a special place in the hearts of the most dedicated Mortal Kombat fans because she's one of the few to make only a minor comeback, but ultimately not get to stick around. Making her first appearance in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, she wasn't supposed to be anything spectacular, and the developers have mentioned that she was essentially a color-swapped Kitana.
Despite the creators and developers indifference, fans clamored for Khameleon's return in Mortal Kombat Armageddon, where she was given a design upgrade — translucent skin and an outfit that changed colors. Her moves list is also a combination of the best moves from the likes of Kitana, Sonya Blade, and Jade. There is no shortage of female ninjas in Mortal Kombat, but interestingly, Khameleon is one of the only ones to never be unmasked.
Ashrah is commonly oversimplified down to 'female Raiden,' which can be a good thing and a bad thing.
